Collection: Achillée
After decades of growing grapes for other winemakers, Pierre and Jean convinced their father Yves in 2016 to make their own wines. That was the birth of Achillée, and what a success it has been. They cultivate Riesling, typical for Alsace, as well as Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer. They produce both very easy to drink and some fairly complex wines with a lot of depth. The vineyard has been biologically certified since 1999 and since 2003 they have been growing their grapes biodynamically. By the way, Achillée is the French word for the yarrow flower. If you ever travel to Alsace, you must visit them in their beautifully located and completely co2- neutral winery.
